I truly think that seeing Australia from a caravan is about the best experience my family and I have ever had.
Australia is just too beautiful, and there are so many amazing experiences to be had.
But, I feel we are at a bit of a crossroads with Aussie caravan and motorhome travel.
I'm lucky enough to be on my second continuous lap of Australia, and I've seen the cost of travel skyrocket.
Fuel and accommodation are so high - it really does impact people's ability to get the most out of their travel.
I've seen this firsthand countless times...
Friends who had to cut their trip short.
Families that had to skip whale shark dives, or other once in a lifetime experiences.
Aussies are slowly being restricted from seeing their own country.
The thing is, most travellers are so generous.
They would do anything in their power to make another travellers trip better.
I experienced this personally, when a couple we had only known a few days offered their place to stay when we needed it.
It's something I would do too, if it would help someone else in a time of need, or even just to save them the $40 - $80 for a night in a caravan park.

Instead of spending our hard earned money to stay in caravan parks, we can come together and share our resources...
So that we can spend more of our hard earned money on experiences and adventures...

Here's My Big Idea
Most people who own a caravan or motorhome and their own home or property have a place they permanently store their van.
I have created a software system that lets us safely and securely share each others parking spot.
It's a state-of-the-art booking system, and it:
- Lets you book other members sites now or in advance
- Gives you total control over who stays and when
- Easily handles cancellations
- Has member reviews and ratings to maintain quality
- Keeps all communication through the app (no messaging on social or email)
- Lets you control if people have access to power and water on your site
- Has more options for pet owners
Basically, it's a safe, secure and convenient way for us to share our sites and save money in the process.

No problem! During the trial period if you do not use your LandaVan membership then simply email me at eulanda@landavan.com.au and I will cancel you down.
We only want respectful and caring members. LandaVan has member reviews and ratings, so that our community quality is maintained, and we have support 7 days per week via email and chat.
No! All LandaVan members must own a self contained caravan or motorhome. Members only use the site on your property that you usually park your van or motorhome on.
That is up to each member to decide. We are encouraging everyone to allow members to use power and water, as the additional savings that you will enjoy will be worth it! The more we work together, the more we save together!
It is up to the member whether pets are welcome. If you have a furry friend then we suggest making this option available to other members so you can all benefit. Of course it is expected that you clean up properly after your pet and leave no trace.
Because LandaVan is a site swap membership, you can only join if you have a property that you are willing to share. However this could be a family members property who are willing to share.
Yes! As long as a LandaVan site is available there is no resriction to how soon you can book.
